This is a full-time, permanent position, working predominantly Sunday to Thursday, 22:00 - 06:00 with a salary of £30,000 - £38,000.

The holidays are 25 days plus bank holidays with the option to buy additional days, you'll also receive some very generousretail discounts, we can tell you all about this on the phone.

What will you be doing:

Daytoday you'll support a core of approximately 150 drivers, delivering to approximately 250 retail stores across the UK. You will deputise for the Transport Manager in their absence
You will ensure operational service levels are met and exceeded and work with a view of continuous improvement to help make a good performing team an excellent one
Where the plans need to change from the customer at short notice, you will find creative solutions to complex problems to ensure continuation of service
You will identify, address and where necessary escalate any risks to service delivery or KPI targets to the Transport Manager or senior operational team, where appropriate.

What we need from you:

Proven transport experience if you are a Transport Shift Manager looking to take your next step then this could be a real opportunity to showcase your talent

Proven ability to communicate, engage and influence. You'll be working closely with all of our Transport team, so you'll need to get them on board
