PagePersonnel are delighted to be working on a retained basis with our client to recruit a Part-Qualified Accountant.

The purpose of this role is to perform a wide variety of financial activities to ensure SEP is compliant with it's own financial processesand procedures and outside regulatory bodies.

This role will also include responsibility for bookkeeping, quarterly and year end reporting for SEP's managed funds.

Description

  • Prepare quarterly management accounts and VAT returns.
  • Prepare statutory year end accounts and liaise with auditors.
  • Preparing the annual forecast
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register.
  • Quarterly and year end reporting for SEP Funds.
  • Preparing drawdowns and distributions and send to investors.
  • Prepare fund bank reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly depository monitoring information
  • Prepare corporation tax pack
  • Prepare annual budget
  • Manage cashflow
  • Ensure company policies regarding purchasing and payment are complied with
  • Check bookkeeping, nominal and VAT postings to ensure accurate
  • Prepare credit card expense claims

Profile

  • Degree in accounting and 3 years' experience working in a busy finance department or practice
  • Experience of preparing statutory and management accounts for SME companies
  • An excellent technical foundation in accounting and tax regulations
  • Knowledge of Sage 50.
  • Experience of preparing budgets/forecasting
  • Excellent technical foundation in accounting and tax regulations
