As a Sample Registration Coordinator, you'll be responsible for registering samples received from customers into the Lab system.
You will ensure all data is inputted into the system in an accurate and timely manner in order for the laboratory to carry out the analysis, compliant with customer and UKAS requirements.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage the subcontracting journey from initial query point of sale through to testing completion.
- Accurately follow standard operating procedures for the registration, subcontraction and transfer of samples between sites.
- Act as a technical support to outsource pricing and testing requirements with subcontracting labs.
- Outsource pricing with subcontracting labs to ensure we fulfil customer requests
- Preparing POs via IFS and updating the PO log.
- Liaising with sales to ensure they are aware of updated/new pricing for subcontractors.
- Where required provide cover and support to the overall sample registration function.
- Work with third party couriers to ensure we get the best service for TAT and delivery options.
- Preparing commercial invoices for samples going to Europe ensuring commodity codes, sample value and descriptions are correct.
- Creating sample submissions via LIMs system and registering with subcontractors.
- Being first point of contact for customers regarding outsourced testing
Qualifications:
- The job holder must be educated to at least GCSE level in, however experience in touch typing would be advantageous.
- Good organisational skills and a responsible attitude are essential.
- A familiarity with computers is essential including use of Microsoft office packages.
- The job holder needs to be competent with written and spoken English.
