Full time Veterinary Nursing Assistant/ Receptionist

The position is for a full time Small Animal Veterinary Practice Veterinary Nursing Assistant/Receptionist (We are not a VNAC Practice).

We are a small team an looking for someone who is flexible, empathetic, has good communication and interpersonal skills, has a calm manner and a genuine love of animals.

The position will involve some computer work so experience is desirable.

You will be required to work 25-35 hours per week on a flexible rota basis between the hours of 8.30am and 7.30pm Monday to Friday with some Saturday work between 8.30am and 1pm.

The position includes the following.
v General reception duties including meeting and greeting clients.

v Taking client payments

v Some computer work

v Answering the phone and dealing with questions and queries.

v Filing and general paperwork.

v Assisting the Vet and other staff

v Admitting and discharging animals

v Caring for in patients

v Keeping the surgery clean and tidy.


Salary:
£8.50-£10.50 per hour
