Robertson Bell is partnering with this growing housing association, during an exciting period of growth, to recruit a permanent Finance Business Partner position.

This newly created role will act as the face of finance for the Development Team, as well aslead on producing the long term financial plans for the organisation and for submission to the regulator.


Duties for the Finance Business Partner (Development) will include but are not limited to:

  • Undertake thorough financial checks on appraisals produced by the development teams, ensuring accurate assumptions are made.
  • Act as the Finance expert for the financial planning and financial modelling system.
  • Review development team cash flows and bids, subsequently inputting all information into the business plans, issuing up to date long term business plans on a quarterly basis.
  • Collaboratively produce the 30year financial plan, and Financial Forecast Return with the Head of Business Partnering.
  • Regular contact with Senior Management, Functional Heads, Directors and Local Boards to assist with long term decision making.

The development pipeline for this organisation is exciting and recent appointments in the finance teamhave reinvigorated its approach and the organisation will be growing for some time to come.


To be considered, you should be:

  • A qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or qualified by experience)
  • Experienced in conducting robust investment appraisals on property development schemes.
  • Experienced using financial planning software (Brixx, Pamwin, Proval or similar)
  • A clear communicator who is able to influence and build credibility with stakeholders.
