Nicholas Howardare delighted to be recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager.
Reporting into the Head of Intermediary Sales, the Regional Sales Manager will build and continuously grow their portfolio of brokers in their region in line with the overall business plan, whilst maintaining sound risk and compliance management.
This is a field-based role, so you will be based from home and will be expected to be out on the road meeting clients and representing the company for the majority of the week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, build, and develop relationships with existing and new intermediaries within region.
- Deliver, volume, value, revenue, and business performance targets.
- Work within our regulatory, risk and compliance frameworks.
- Develop and implement a regional account plan that is agreed by line management and that can be articulated to key stakeholders.
- Work closely with your aligned Telephony Sales Manager to build business volume and pipeline.
- Engage with key stakeholders across the business to provide market insight and customer feedback.
- Work with key accounts to formulate, implement and review key strategic objectives.
- Act as an ambassador for the company at all times.
- Represent the company at industry events, promoting the business to targeted audiences, ensuring we are recognised as industry leaders in our field.
- Be seen as someone who is knowledgeable and experienced about our market.
- Maintain a strong industry network to help identify new opportunities and potential threats, feeding back to internal departments and brokers where necessary.
Requirements:
- Proven businesstobusiness development and sales experience with intermediaries.
- Experience of developing robust sales strategies with multi layered complex accounts.
- Experience of working within a regulated lending environment, with a strong understanding and knowledge of the intermediary market.
- Exceptional influencing, communication, and negotiation skills, and able to converse with all levels of seniority.
- Can create and deliver highquality presentations.
- PC skills including Microsoft Office.
- An assertive and tactful manner.
- Strong objection handling and problemsolving skills.
- Full driving license.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Regular travel and overnight stays are a requirement of the role.
- CeMap qualification is desirable.
