Description

The Project Specialist reports to the Sales & Project Support Manager and is an essential role that is accountable for the processing of critical information into various business systems relating to site projects.

The Project Specialist operates within a workflow where timing and communication are crucial in the processing and handling of information to support the on time in full delivery of projects.

The Project Specialist interacts with the assigned market segment ("pillar") team, specifically working closely with the Key Account Manager and Project Managers.

The Project Specialist role is always looking to improve how we do operate and make our processes more efficient.


Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities

The Project Specialist is responsible for:

  • Creating quotations and updating internal order trackers from site information received from the Project Manager.
  • Administration of the stock process by checking its availability and assigning it to sites.
  • Checking and communicating production lead times of equipment both locally and group wide.
  • Placing and maintaining orders using internal systems.
  • Communicating information and updates to the wider team.
  • Processing site information and the creation to delivery workflow.
  • Keeping on top of site changes and ensuring that updates are fed back into the workflow.
  • Ensuring that projects folders are up to date to help with invoicing preparation.
  • For administering the customer cabinet bonding process.

The Project Specialist also supports in the:

  • Maintenance of customer portals, schedules of rates (SOR), forecasts, and customer/product information.
  • The smooth flow of information between departments within the workflow.
  • Occasional site visits with the Key Account Manager/Project Manager
  • Gathering of supporting information from active sites such as sign off documents.
  • Closing of projects and the capture of project feedback.

Skills & key competencies:


  • Demonstrate an ability to learn EPTA products and services.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise own workload.
  • IT skills including MS package
  • Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams.
  • A wide range of SAP skills (ability to interrogate stock & load sales orders)
  • Ability to interpret layout drawings.
  • Refrigeration knowledge (desirable) both cabinet models and the wider system and installation process.
  • Good proven problemsolving skills, including the ability to use your own initiative.
  • Ability to work with defined processes but able to identify improvements.
  • Additional structured training and progression opportunities exist.
  • Positive attitude and ability to get things right first time.

Salary:
£25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
