  • West Anglia

Hours:
- c.36 hours a week


Pay Rate:
- £25-30 an hour via umbrella

An opening has arisen for an Early Years Lecturer to be based in West Anglia.

Said individual will contribute to the Department's aim to ensure learner outcomes are appropriately monitored and maximised with no issues.


  • Preparing schemes and plans and conducting teaching/learning activities appropriate to the needs of the individual students in line with Health and Safety requirements
  • Preparing, marking and recording relevant coursework and assessments
  • Contributing to student reports, records of achievement and references
  • Liaising with appropriate employers and external bodies
  • Acting as course Director/Personal Tutor
  • Chairing course team meetings
  • Participating in the preinspection programme, review/evaluation of courses, course materials and learning methodologies
  • Developing new NVQ requirements
  • Contributing to student interviewing, counselling and guidance processes
  • Attending team, department and college meetings as required
  • Complying with the college's safeguarding regulations
  • Level 3 Early Years Educator Licence (preferred)
  • Level 5 teaching qualification (eg. Diploma in Education/DTLLS/PGCE)
  • Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE A*C or 94) or equivalent
  • Ability to work safely with children and vulnerable adults
