Teaching Assistant - Daily Supply

Location:
Derby, Derbyshire

Salary:
£75 - £85 per day (PAYE)
DegreeSix SEND are a specialist agency that specifically work with schools across Derbyshire to support children who have SEND. We are working with mainstream and SEN schools by supporting their staffing needs.

The role includes:

Working alongside students with SEN such as ADHD, Autism, SLD, SEMH, and challenging behaviors.
Assisting student's academic needs as well as personal development and life skills
Ensuring the student's personal care needs are met if necessary.
Providing regular feedback to teachers/parents surrounding development and EHCP's

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will need to demonstrate that you are proactive throughout the day, and you can keep the children engaged.

When working directly with SEND you need to be consistent throughout with your punctuality and reliability due to the nature of the job.
