**Account Manager - Manufacturing
Birmingham
£40,000 + Benefits**Are you a Business Development/Account Management professional with a proven track record of driving sales within a Manufacturing environment.
Do you have experience of successfully managing and growing accounts in within Manufacturing?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established Packaging Manufacturing business going through an exciting period of growth and development, whose customers are amongst the biggest players in the UK market.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management issues and matters.
  • Focus on growing and developing existing clients along with trying to generate new business opportunities.
  • Look to build, create and maintain long lasting client relationships.
  • Develop relationships with key customers and contacts.
  • Ensure that our products meet the needs of all of our customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction with our products and services.
  • Communicate with and provide feedback to the Head of Sales regarding any issues or fluctuations with customer spend or performance.
  • Identify areas for improvement with our customer base and explore new product ranges, services or innovative ideas.
  • Forecast and track account spends and usage figures.

Ideal Skills and Experience

  • Proven track record in both account management and new business development
  • Previous experience in Manufacturing
  • Experience preparing and submitting high value tenders
  • Commercial acumen and strong negotiation skills
  • Drive and ambition to deliver strong sales performance across your accounts
  • Confidence to work independently and autonomously
