Description

We are looking for an experienced Health & Safety Adviser to ensure Health and Safety legislative requirements are met at Stratford and Avon Hatcheries.

To continually improve Health and Safety processes within the hatchery and to work closely with staff and management to ensure that we maintain a safe working environment at all times.

Key responsibilities include undertaking risk assessments for all areas of work, be responsible for Fire Safety of the site, update and maintain the safe working practices for all operational purposes, internally audit the hatcheries, assist with the co-ordination and the delivering of training in relation to Health and Safety, work closely with hatchery staff and management to drive improvements and become pro-active in all things Health & Safety.
