About the team?
You will be working in the Ticket Office at Paddington Station. The Customer Sales Advisors report to the Customer Sales Supervisor, who ultimately reports to the Station Management Team.

It is important you are able to work well within a team as well as the ability to work independently.


About the job?


As a Customer Sales Advisor you will confidently and impartially sell the full range of tickets and services, including processing high volumes of sales, whilst exceeding our customers' expectations.


Your main responsibilities will be:


  • Providing excellent customer service to our travelling passengers
  • Being dedicated to our customer needs
  • Accurately and impartially selling the full range of products and services to our customers in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
  • Accurately completing all accountancy and other associated documentation.

You'll need to be:


  • Able to remain calm under pressure
  • A self starter with a can do attitude
  • Confident when decision making
  • Able to work alone and make decisions independently

As a minimum, you will need to have:

  • Previous experience of working within a customer facing role
  • The ability to work as part of a team or independently
  • Evidence of numerical ability
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous cash handling experience would be beneficial although not essential.

Additional Information?
This role is a permanent position.


Working Pattern?
The role involves working shifts, including weekends and Bank Holiday working.
