A
Waking Nights Team Leader is required for a Care Home based in
Princes Risborough.

Responsibilities of this role will also include:

  • Practically assisting people with tasks of daily living such as personal care and mobility, and end of life care, as directed in the Support Plan.
  • Support people to take their medication as prescribed and recorded in the individual Medication Administration Record.
  • Participate in and ensure that domestic tasks e.g. laundry, cleaning, tidying are undertaken.
  • Ensure that the building is secure and safe during night hours and deal with any emergency situation that may arise.
  • Record essential information in service user's daily reports, care and health monitoring charts, accident and incident reports, and service message systems clearly, accurately and immediately.

Shift times are as follows:

  • 21:15pm 7:15am (NIGHTS)

A Waking Nights Team Leader should:

  • Be able to converse and write fluently in English
  • Understand the responsibilities of a good leader and carry them out effectively
  • Be punctual and have good work ethics
  • Be able to keep accurate records and follow written instructions
  • Be caring and compassionate
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Be able to provide two professional references
  • Have a minimum of 6 months experience as carer
