As a Gate Co-ordinator, you will be joining our team working on aircraft in between flights.

Delivering high performance standards, you will be responsible for Co-ordination of all activities needed to enable the safe, on time departure of aircraft.

You will be the primary ground link with the airline captain and crew and be responsible for load planning relating to passengers, baggage, cargo and fuel.

You will work closely with our Ramp and Customer Service teams to ensure that all flight turnarounds are completed in line with procedure.

  • Coordinating activities at the gate driving a first class customer experience and upholding all customer airline standards.
  • Ensure all paperwork relating to the aircraft turnaround is completed
  • To comply with all airlines weight & balance documentation and load sheet regulations.
  • Detailed written reports for delays or any safety incident while in charge of a flight.
  • Confirm fuel load with Captain & fuel provider as appropriate.
  • To ensure that security Items, Rush/Unattended bags are loaded & documented correctly
  • Boarding flights and checking passengers in at checkin/ gate area when needed.
  • Presentation of the load sheet with any final amendments made to the Captain and agreeing departure times.
  • Assisting with disruption management
  • Assisting with other aircraft turnaround activities as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Good verbal communication.
  • Diligent attention to detail.
  • Aptitude for working with a variety of information technology.
  • A full 5 year work/unemployment/education history.
  • Proof of Right To Work in the UK
  • Full and valid UK Driving Licence
  • Criminal Record Check and Airside Security Clearance (we will assist in this process)
