Head of Manufacturing for a a large business in the East Midlands


Client Details

Description
You will have full responsibility for the site and will drive the operational performance, growth plan and and health & safety culture


Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and develop the teams across the department; setting KPIs and stretch objectives to support the team in their delivery
  • Support the development of the leadership team
  • Ensure full operational plans and mitigation plans are in place to react quickly to fluctuating demands, ensuring excellent customer service and quality
  • Work closely with Demand Planning to ensure twoway quality communication
  • Work closely with Engineering and Maintenance to ensure full operational capability and efficiency of all machinery
  • Define, implement and lead continuous improvement projects; within the team and cross functionally

Profile

  • Degree educated (or equivalent)
  • Working knowledge of technical, manufacturing processes
  • Understanding of full end to end Supply Chain
  • Working knowledge of CI techniques, Kaizen, Lean, 5S, Six Sigma or similar
  • Experienced in driving Health & safety (operationally and culturally)
  • Natural problem solver
