Role Overview

- Looking for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Catalysis for Organic Hydrogenations under the supervision of Professor Kylie Vincent for up to 12 months.
- Project involves research in chemo/bio catalysis for hydrogenation of nitrogen-containing compounds.
- Funded by Innovation Centre for Applied and Sustainable Technologies (iCAST) collaboration between Universities of Bath and Oxford.
- Vincent group comprises diverse researchers focused on merging chemo and bio catalysis for sustainable chemical synthesis.

Qualifications
- Must have a PhD in Chemistry or close to completion.
- Expertise in organic synthesis, proficiency in analytical methods (NMR, GC, HPLC), and a passion for sustainable chemistry.
- Previous experience in catalysis and hydrogenation reactions preferred.
- Able to independently manage academic research and administrative tasks including project coordination and interaction with iCAST consortium.
- Location: Department of Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory, South Parks Road, OX1 3QR.
