This permanent position is suited to someone with a property claims background, who is looking to progress into handling a more complex, and dynamic workload, or looking to advance their career in a busy, fresh-thinking, and supportive environment.


What you will achieve in this role:

Based within the complex claims area of the property department, you will handle a varied and interesting portfolio of claims ranging from escape of water to storm damage up to £100,000 in value.

  • Carrying your own portfolio of complex/high value claims
  • Full management of the claiming cycle including repair schedules and contractor management
  • Proactive approach to all claims to get them settled as effectively and efficiently as possible
  • Empathetic responses to our customers when they need us the most
  • Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure data is collected and collaboration where required
  • The drive to continuously improve within your role both technically and professionally

Your top skills:


  • Previous property claims experience
  • Accurate data capture and entry
  • An awareness of property related perils and how to handle a complex claim
  • Positive work attitude and the ability to get involved in department wide initiatives such as sports days and awards ceremonies
  • Attention to detail
  • Effective time management
