Fundraising Officer (Trusts & Foundations)

Totnes, Devon

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week


Salary:
£34,357 - £39,455 per annum


We're looking for a Fundraising Officer to lead the way in trust and foundation fundraising, someone who will be responsible for delivering a diverse range of fundraising and communication activity across the Charity that will support us in achieving our mission and vision of extending our reach in supporting people with learning disabilities to have a great life.


Managing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders will be an important element of your role as will maintaining a professional image both inside and outside of the Charity, ensuring that all communication is engaging and of the highest standard.

About you

To be successful in this role we are looking for someone who has:

  • A degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline (i.e. fundraising, communication, marketing, creative writing).
  • A proven track record of working within a variety of fundraising disciplines including trusts & foundations, ideally within the third sector.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, with an eye for detail and the drive and commitment to deliver against deadlines.
  • The ability to demonstrate a creative and inspiring writing approach in your bid writing.
  • Confidence in communicating in a variety of different ways with the ability to develop good working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
