Due to company growth and team expansion we have an exciting opportunity for a
Credit Controller to join a well established and experienced Credit Control Team.
What will I be doing?
As a member of our well established and experience Credit Control Team, you will have responsibility for your own ledger of accounts, alongside the opportunity to review current processes and ways of working.
You will be expected to bring enthusiasm, and a 'can do' attitude but with the knowledge you will have a supportive team around you.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Allocating and taking customer payments
- Dealing with customer queries
- Investigating unidentified and unallocated payments received
- Monitoring payments and uploading invoices through relevant portals/web based platforms
- Maintaining, producing and issuing monthly customer statements and reports
- Work collaboratively with other teams within the business to achieve a common purpose
- Escalating problem accounts through the appropriate channels
- Updating weekly reports and providing accurate feedback in a timely manner
- Reviewing current processes and ways of working
- Working with the operations and credit teams to develop new processes and ways of working to drive efficiencies and maximise working capital
- Occasionally attending meetings at other business offices

What experience do I need?
Our team consists of the best Finance team members, we should know, we trained them You will have significant experience within a Credit Control Team and will be looking for your next step up within Accounts and Finance, along with having the right attitude, aptitude and appetite for what we do.
You will:
- Significant experience within a credit control role
- Be confident, with an excellent telephone manner
- Have strong IT skills and an aptitude for learning new systems swiftly (having strong Excel skills and other MS packages would also be an advantage)
- Be proactive and tenacious in your approach to cash collection and query resolution
- Be commercially minded, with an ability to build a positive rapport with both internal and external customers
- Be able to work to strict deadlines and comfortable in a target driven environment
- Well organised and selfmotivated with an ability to prioritise tasks
- Have strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of implementing new processes and systems
