Buro Happold has an exciting opportunity to join our Edinburgh office as a Facilities Coordinator. The role is office based and the working hours are 8.30am to 17.00pm with one hour lunch break. There may be the occasional requirement for out of hours and weekend work to fulfil the role duties.

By working with the Office and Facilities Manager, this role will see you supporting the community in several ways and ensure the smooth and successful operation of the office.
You'll undertake local and UK office facilities administration, ensure regular building checks, keep track of the office compliance for Health and Safety, manage the pre-planned maintenance records and contracts.
Initially joining on a 12 Month FTC contract this role has the scope to develop after the 12 Months into a full time position.
Key Duties
:
- Key holder responsibilities for accessing the offices in an emergency.
- Managing 'Facilities Helpdesk' mailbox.
- Assist with office moves.
- Liaising with the IT team on tasks and projects.
- Managing work schedules for contractors including PPM's, ensuring jobs are booked.
- Carrying out Health and Safety checks in the office.
- Financial duties including raising POs, checking monthly invoices and reconciling monthly credit card statements.
Your Skills & Experience
:
- Office experience and a proactive approach to your work.
- Good computer and IT skills including Word, Outlook, Excel, Sharepoint and Teams.
- Previous experience in Facilities (Desirable)
- COSHH Management (Desirable)
- IOSH or NEBOSH H&S Qualification (Desirable)
- Knowledge of ISO's 14001 and Desirable)
- Membership to relevant professional body e.g. IWFM, IOSH, IEMA (Desirable)
