The Shrubbery is the oldest co-educational independent primary school in Sutton Coldfield.Working as part of the team, we are looking to appoint a motivated and dedicated school caretaker. The core hours of this role are 7am - 11am Mon-Friday and/or 2pm - 6pm Mon-Friday. The role would either suit one individual working a split shift or two individuals working either morning or afternoon.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- opening/closing the school site
- compliance with site level H&S
- general maintenance and repairs
- tending to the school grounds
- liaising with senior leadership and external contractors to arrange for larger repairs
- driving the school minibus
- acting as a site key-holder
Due to the nature of this role there is also an expectation that the caretaker will be available to support extra-curricular activities such as parents evening, summer fair etc.
Job Type:
Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary:
£16.00 per hour
