About Us
People come to work for Habinteg because they believe in what matters to us.

Inclusion drives all that we do, be that the services we offer to tenants, the environments we create or the homes we deliver.

One in four people in this country are disabled but most homes are designed to exclude them. We believe in designing homes and creating neighbourhoods that everyone can share and enjoy. We have approximately 3350 homes across the country from Tyneside to Cornwall.

We are champions of the Lifetime Homes Standard and provide expert training and consultancy through our Centre for Accessible Environments (CAE) in-house team.

About the Role

This role sits within Habinteg's Customer & Building Safety Team to provide invaluable support to the Compliance Contracts Managers in the smooth running of various building safety compliance programmes and contracts.

The aim of the role is to ensure we maintain compliant so that the business meets its statutory landlord compliance obligations in areas such as water safety, asbestos, fire safety, electrical safety, gas safety and lift maintenance.

Keeping our tenants safe is our priority so you will need to be able to prioritise your work well and complete compliance checks on time and recorded accurately on our internal programmes, C365 and Active-H.

We will also look to you for support with commissioning planned, periodic compliance checks for maintaining safety equipment in residential blocks and individual properties.

This will be part and parcel in keeping our contractors, suppliers, tenants, and clients well-informed at all times.

About You

We're looking for someone who can bring experience of delivering exceptional customer service and a background of working in a regulated environment.

You'll have a proven ability to produce and present data and explain it in simple, written terms to others and be comfortable working in a high-pressure environment, successfully juggling multiple competing priorities.

Highly numerate and data savvy, you will be highly organised and efficient, ensuring all administrative tasks are complete. You will be able to provide timely, accurate reports, and highlight any anomalies.

A good understanding of executing basic functions in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word, and ideally with experience in housing management systems and databases, you will be a clear and confident communicator who can deliver messages in a respectful manner.
