St Margaret of Scotland Hospice - Scotland's oldest and largest Hospice currently has a vacancy for a Maintenance Professional to be based at the Hospice in Clydebank to lead the upkeep and development of our facilities and to take lead responsibility for technical operations across the site.


This role has both strategic and operational components and will include taking overall responsibility for the maintenance and upkeep of our buildings, facilities and equipment.

This will include developing a plan of work to continue to improve and enhance our technical operations, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, Healthcare Improvement Scotland standards and other relevant standards and best practice.

A good knowledge of both building services and technical operations is essential.

  • Fire prevention and detection
  • Risk Assessment and reduction
  • Utility reporting and Environmental Management
  • Provide competent Technical, Health, Safety and Environmental support & assistance
  • To provide informed advice and support to Hospice Senior Management for all maintenance and engineering requirements.
  • Technical qualifications in gas, electricity or similar

Salary:
From £31,000.00 per year
