Description

We are looking for a dynamic, keen clinician to join the Oral, OMF Surgery and Orthodontic teams and broaden their clinical experience.

The unit provides a comprehensive range of services including oral surgery, orthodontics, cleft, implant rehabilitation, orthognathic surgery and maxillofacial surgery, with the exception of major head and neck oncology.

The unit includes a Cone Beam CT scanner and intra-oral scanners.

We hope to hold interviews in the first week of April 2024.


Described as the 'City in the Countryside', the cathedral and market city of Salisbury is one of the oldest in England.

It is supported by good transport links, particularly to London and the West Country.

In addition, it offers a rich mix of entertainment and activities and is well known for its art and culture.

Clinical Service


Out-patient Department:

The role will contain routine attendance of new and follow up clinics for Oral & OMFS patient care.

There is a wide variety of pathologies treated within the department (cleft, orthognathic, salivary gland, oral medicine etc.) and the opportunity to be present at multi-disciplinary meetings and clinics.


Theatre:

May have access to supervised general anaesthetic lists, including treatment of impacted and ectopic teeth, which provides an excellent opportunity to improve surgical skills
