Description
Owner-managed Logistics Business based in Gosport, Hampshire, has an opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the position will play a leading role in delivering change through improving the performance ofa small finance and commercial team, ultimately improving business performance.


What will the role involve?

  • Production of the monthly management accounts including provision of detailed analysis of any variance to budget;
  • Production of the year end accounts in preparation for audit and liaising with auditors when required;
  • Preparation of the annual budget and monthly reforecasts;
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards and undertaking Company Secretarial duties for all group companies;
  • Management of insurance arrangements for the company including Group Life Assurance and Medical Insurance for employee benefits;
  • Complete all statutory returns for all companies including VAT and PAYE.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders throughout the business will be essential.
