The Best Connection are currently recruiter General Operatives(s) for The Wilkins Group NG4 Colwick, a Global provider of food print packaging products.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with an established company with key industry brands providing a stable work environment with an opportunity to be contracted after 13 weeks temporary employment.


Hours of the General Operatives(s) for The Wilkins Group NG4 Colwick

Continental Shift pattern of days and nights 12 hour shift example:

  • 3 days on
  • 1 day off
  • 3 days on
-
6 days off:

  • 3 Nights on
  • 1 Night off
  • 3 nights on
-
8 days off:

  • 45 min break (3x15 minute break)

Responsibilities of the General Operatives(s) for The Wilkins Group NG4 Colwick

  • Loading unprinted product into printing machine
  • Packing completed products into boxes
  • Stacking complete product boxes
  • Housekeeping of area
  • Quality checking finished product
  • Working on other lines as required by Team Leader

Requirements of the General Operatives(s) for The Wilkins Group NG4 Colwick

  • Attention to detail.
  • Good accuracy and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work to target.
  • Repetitive movement of items in some areas
  • Work on feet
  • Work with team and supervisors to complete task
  • Be Prepared to rotate to other active positions in Printing area
  • Wear overcoat, hair net and ear defenders
  • Maintain clean hands at all new work stations

  • Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
