Role Description:

Responsible for program delivery, governance and financial management across Equities Electronic Trading Technology.

The successful applicant will deputize for the Equities Electronic Trading COO and the role provides a future career path for someone aiming to achieve a COO role.

The role combines a traditional project management focus with the agile skillsets of a scrum-master.


The Team:

Equities Electronic Trading Technology (ETT) delivers low latency algorithmic trading capabilities for Cash Equities, Futures & Options and FX.

The team provides both Direct Market Access (DMA) and sponsored access to venues for clients as well as Direct Strategy Access (DSA) for both external clients and internal partners.

ETT is also responsible for the technology that underpins the Central Risk Book (CRB) and the Central European Emerging Markets team.

The team is composed of ~250 people, spread across 13 locations.


We have team members in London, New York, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney, Mumbai, Chennai, Dallas, Moscow, Madrid, Johannesburg, Riyadh and Istanbul.


Core Skills:

The role requires an experienced PM with an understanding of both program delivery, governance, and financial management. This should be combined with an understanding of Agile methodologies and a familiarity with Scrum Master activities.

The following will be key components of the role:


  • Coordinates and facilitates routines to support delivery e.g. kickoffs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, tollgates, etc.
  • Plans and coordinates delivery and dependencies with across multiple teams.
  • Facilitates dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the defined deliverables.
  • Promotes/facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support the deliverable completion and timeline.
  • Gathers/facilitates status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks/issues, and schedule.
  • Ensures that execution is aligned with deliverable requirements by working with the sponsor/stakeholders.
  • Ensures deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards.
  • Supports resource planning for delivery/execution.
