Would you like to work within an innovative and engaging organisation that is working towards bettering the lives of others through cycling?

Cycling UK is proud to represent the voice of its 70,000+ members and many more to ensure everyone can realise a better world by bike.

We have a loud voice to lobby government, campaign for improved rights and inspire millions more people to cycle. We know that within our community, the way in which individuals want to engage with us is broad.

For many it's as simple as maximising the benefits of our membership to get the most out of their time on their bike but for some, it's also about giving back, and creating the right conditions for other people to thrive on their bikes for future generations.

The role

As a cycling development officer, you will be tasked to deliver The Big Bike Revival and Community Cycle clubs programme across Norfolk, with a focus on establishing activity in Kings Lynn and helping to sustain activity across the county.

This could include, but is not limited to, bike re-cycle centres, social enterprises and established not for profit organisations.

Groups will be consulted and supported to create new cycling activities or to incorporate cycling as part of their existing service offering.

Focus on gearing your supporting statement to exemplify how your skills and experience match the requirements of the role, directly referring to the person specification.

This enables the selection panel to assess your relative strengths against the specified criteria.
