East Suffolk Services is a brand-new company, wholly owned by East Suffolk Council, with whom we will commence our main contract in July 2023.

The contract will cover Waste, Public Realm, Parking, CCTV, Community Alarms, Facilities Management and Cemeteries.


Reporting into the Managing Director, the Head of Performance & Improvement will be responsible for leading and driving a culture of engagement, support, and high standards.


We want a leader with a passion for delivering next-level service to customers, enhancing satisfaction, driving results, supporting further business growth, and creating a positive and upbeat culture.


We are seeking a proven leader who has demonstrable experience of leading across multiple functions such as customer engagement, operational performance management, business development, data protection, risk, and health and safety.


  • Proven experience leading customer engagement.
  • Developing and encouraging a culture of continuous improvement across sites with clear objectives outlined and delivered.
  • Experience of developing income streams, both existing and new business.
  • Contract Management.
  • To manage the development, implement, and maintain of core values to create a cohesive environment which is responsive to increasing demands.
  • Exceptional organisational, planning and leadership skills.
  • Proven working knowledge in employee management and development.
  • Strong decision making, analytical and problemsolving skills.
