Brief job description:

Estio Training have an exciting new opportunity for a Marketing Apprentice with Fulneck School based in Fulneck, Pudsey.


This is a newly created role so there is plenty of scope to develop and add value to the school.

We are looking for a competent person who can support the school's growth through creative and engaging marketing, having full autonomy for the school's social media and website.

We are small team, so a good attitude to team working is essential.


Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:


Website:


  • To work with the Principal in maintaining and developing the website.
  • Monitor and update information displayed on the website liaising with teaching staff and other departments where necessary.
  • Be the key point of contact for our external web developer.
  • Briefs colleagues about content marketing, social media engagement and user online behaviour.
  • To drive traffic to the website through appropriate initiatives.
  • Encouraging contributions of news from staff and pupils
  • Assessing the information structure and presentation of information on the website to ensure that it is as impressive as it can be.
  • Checking the functionality of the website to ensure that it is navigable.
  • To create digital reports e.g. using Google Analytics to enable the Principal to assess how effective the website is as a marketing tool and presenting this information at meetings of the Marketing and Admissions team.
  • Content creator, proofreading and editing articles and publications.
  • Editing of photographs.
  • Managing all digital assets (photographs) to facilitate access and archiving.
  • Looking at the content of the information on the website with a view to maximizing Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
  • Updating educational websites where information for our schools are held e.g. Good Schools' Guide.
  • Sending news to key educational websites as appropriate.
  • Periodically, or as required, developing the design and functionality of current or new websites.

Social Media:


  • Creating the content for the relevant channels.
  • Planning weekly schedules of postings on different platforms, e.g. Facebook, X and Instagram.
  • Monitoring the existing platforms and making approved responses as required.
  • Following educational specialists on social media to look for opportunities on to contribute to discussions online and build relationships with them Other:
  • Assists in creating promotional materials, including prospectus, magazines, digital advertising, offline advertising etc.
  • Support the team in delivering key events.
  • Manage the content for Internal digital screens working closely with the office teams.
