The Trust is looking for a Medical Staffing Team Lead on a permanent basis to help us to deliver an excellent operational HR service to the Trust's Medical workforce.


Serving around 11,000 employees from our new Employee Service Centre, you will deal with the day to day management of rotas for your given Health Group as well as dealing with Junior Doctor rotations, recruitment and pre employment checks as part of a professional, supportive and flexible team.


You will have the opportunity to share knowledge and skills with other Employee Service Centre colleagues to support your personal development and provide cover as required.

Support the transition to, and development of, a modern integrated Employee Service Centre that provides an efficient, effective and supportive service.

Provide effective and professional HR services for all levels of medical staff across the Trust.

Support the delivery of a high quality, customer focused, and measurable service.


Support the development of a team that is professional, attentive and supportive and always seeks to improve wherever and whenever needed.


To support the transition to a modern integrated Employee Service Centre that embraces technology to provide an efficient and effective customer focused service.

Manage the development and provision of an effective and professional Employee Service Centre within own area of responsibility.

Support the delivery of a high quality, customer focused, and measurable service to internal and external customers.


Support the development of a team based culture focused on professionalism, meeting the needs of the customer and an environment which strives for continuous improvement and improved efficiency.


To provide a medical staffing service for Junior Doctors and to ensure rotas are covered effectively and that rotational drs start each rotation fully checked and able to start.


To manage a project to ensure all off line rotas are brought into the E-roster software and are managed in accordance with the Service Level agreement held with the Health Groups.

Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital with an annual budget of approximately £800 million.

The Trust employs around 11,000 staff and serves an extended population of 1.25 million, delivering a number of outpatient services from locations across the area.


The Trust's secondary care service portfolio is comprehensive, covering the major medical and surgical specialties, routine and specialist diagnostic services and other clinical support services.

These services are provided primarily to a catchment population of approximately 600,000 in the Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire area.


HUTH provides specialist and tertiary services to a population of 1.25 million extending from Scarborough in North Yorkshire to Grimsby and Scunthorpe in North East and North Lincolnshire respectively.
