We'll even fund your SVQ/SCQF qualifications and your yearly SSSC fee

The Role
The great thing about this job is no two days are ever the same.

You will be joining a dedicated team of
Support Practitioners **who provide support to 10 individuals with different levels of support needs in our twenty-four-hour housing support service in Bridgeton.


As a
Support Practitioner**, you'll provide support and assistance with all aspects of daily living, including cooking, household chores, medication, finances and personal care.

There is never a dull moment with #TeamDalmarnock as the people we support have a variety of hobbies and interests too, which include going to the gym, horse riding, baking, arts and crafts and knitting.


You'll become part of a warm, friendly team who focusses on supporting the individuals with all aspects of their daily living, promoting and encouraging independence and assisting them to play an active role within their local community.


What we'll need you to bring;

  • Good communication skills.
  • A caring attitude and approach.
  • The ability to work as part of a team.
  • A positive approach to learning.
  • Confidence in the use of computers.

Shift Patterns
Our team provides support twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, following a four-week rolling rota.

Shift patterns will fall within the hours of hours and our sleepover shift is hours and will involve weekend and public holiday working on a rotational basis.


Our sleepovers don't form part of your contracted hours, so you will be paid an additional £87.20 for an 8 hour or £98.10 for a 9 hour sleepover you work

If you're successful in joining our team, you will be expected to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and must be willing to work towards a SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare as required for SSSC registration.

We will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.
