Would you like to come and work in our award winning care home located just outside of Banstead in the pretty village of Woodmansterne? We are looking for a full time administrator - 35 hours per week, 8.30am-4.30pm Monday to Friday (although we can be flexible about start and finish times).

You will be joining a great team of people who will support you in settling into the role.

This role will have a specific focus on supporting the Home Manager and Health and Wellbeing team with admin tasks, although other administrative duties will be required.

Whilst we would prefer to recruit someone with care home experience, it is more important that you fit into our great team.

We are offering an extremely competitive hourly rate of £14.53


KEY OBJECTIVES:


  • To provide a full administrative service to the Home Manager and Health and WSellbeing team, reporting any information which would affect the efficient running of the Home to the Administration Manager.
  • To create a first class impression to all visitors to the Home and to telephone callers.

MAIN DUTIES:


  • Managing Home Managers admin tasks such as timesheets, sickness records, diary management
  • Managing Health and Wellbeing admin tasks such as organising trips, preparing risk assessments, producing the monthly newsletter

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:


  • Answering phones in a timely and professional manner
  • Dealing with the post and handing to relevant personnel
  • Filing and ensuring paperwork is up to date and in the relevant files
  • Ordering Supplies for the company
  • To prepare Care Plans for incoming Residents and follow all procedures associated with a new admission.
  • To deal with administration aspects of the departure of residents
  • To carry out any other duties as requested by the Clinical, Business or Administration Managers.
  • To accurately prepare, record and update information on employees personnel records.
  • To complete DBS checks for new staff & volunteers.
  • To carry out all procedures laid down according to Society policy.
  • To ensure confidentiality concerning the details of all residents at all times.
  • To have due regard for your health and safety and the health and safety of others.
  • Using Excel to produce reports required within the care sector
  • Working alongside the Administration Manager to ensure smooth running of all homes

ABOUT YOU:


  • You must proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and CANVA
  • Proactive
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Caring nature
  • Excellent Telephone manner
  • Team player
  • Administration experience

Pay:
From £15.43 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
