The Group comprises Network Plus Services, Go Traffic Management, Capital Traffic Management, EOS and Network Plus Multi Utility.


Network Plus is now one of the UK's leading utility and infrastructure providers, with offices and depots stretching from Carlisle to the South coast.

We deliver services to clients and the public 24/7/365.

Core services include repair, maintenance, construction and installation of utility and infrastructure assets. We provide traffic management through our sister businesses; Go Traffic Management and Capital Traffic Management. Vegetation management and tree cutting activities are provided through EOS Contracting.

Our Role


As a Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for all aspects of management reporting and financial control of contracts and, as a member of the senior contracts team, contributing to the overall strategy and performance of the business to meet agreed business targets and objectives.


Key responsibilities

We are looking for someone to:

  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts, commentary and analysis, complying with all relevant accounting and company policies and procedures
  • Forecast cash performance with commentary and variance analysis
  • Attend contract reviews and relevant project meetings to develop a close understanding and awareness of the project portfolio
  • Prepare the Financial reporting pack for the group of contracts and deliver at the monthly finance review
  • Provide constructive challenge and input to ensure that opportunities and risks are identified, reported and addressed
  • Act as a financial business partner to the relevant leadership teams to ensure financial issues are robustly and effectively managed and reported
  • Help solution budget shortfalls not just report the numbers
  • Assist with the due diligence on acquisitions within your business unit and preparation of completion accounts
  • Work with the operations FD to deliver on any integration targets

Experience and Qualifications

  • A qualified accountant with extensive post qualification experience
  • Strong influencing and communication skills, with an ability to command respect at all levels of the organisation
  • The ability to be independent and objective, whilst maintaining effective relationships
  • Highly computer literate, with prior experience of ERP systems and Excel
  • A proven capability to interrogate, analyse and manage complex data streams for multiple internal/external sources
  • Exposure to M&A activity is useful but not required
