Legacy Strategies are hiring on behalf of our client in the public sector for the role of
Senior Planning Officer.

In this role, you will actively contribute to a customer-focused Planning & Implementation department by resolving cases of varying complexities in Development Management, ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Full Time/ 3month FTC_

Roles and Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, legislations and policies while also delivering projects and developing policies aligned with corporate plans.
Provide specialist advice and services in Development Management, staying updated on legislation, best practices, and policies.
Support, guide, and advise Graduate Planners and Technical Support colleagues as necessary.
Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation and manage key relationships with partners.
Access and accurately update relevant information systems, maintaining the master customer record in line with Data Protection principles.
Prepare and present reports.
Ensure continuous personal and professional development by staying informed about relevant laws, policies, and working practices.
