Hours of work will be from 9am to 5.00pm - Monday to Friday.

The House of Paws LTD is a pet product wholesaler. We supply a range of accounts in UK, Europe and Internationally. We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to help grow the business.


JOB DESCRIPTION

The role is multidisciplinary, and you will be involved in many areas of the company's business.

• Accounting support producing monthly management accounts including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow
• Liaising with banks when information required
• Managing debtors and creditor accounts and chasing through payments from customers and allocating cash on SAGE
• Making payments to suppliers and other sub contractors, through company's banking system
• Daily, weekly and month end reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and petty cash
• Posting journals, credit notes, payroll info
• Inputting invoices, assist in credit control, sales, and logistics operations daily with their requests.
• Allocating funds coming into debtor accounts
• Invoice financing
• Using EDI systems for certain accounts
• Stock Control
• Entering orders and invoicing customers on Sage
• Processing Vat returns and collating year end financial information

Role Requirements

• Strong IT skills and knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail when posting journals, inputting accounting data and running reports
• Hard working, excellent time management and good organisation required.
• Enthusiastic, driven attitude and ability to work as part of a team and individually under management.
• Currently AAT part qualified and studying towards becoming fully qualified.
• At least has 3 years of experience in similar role.
