Join The Megalo Team as a Flexible Nursery Agency Worker - £11.00ph to £14.50ph depending on age and early years qualification level

We are recruiting for a Nursery Agency Worker to cover the ASCOT and SUNNINGDALE areas in Berkshire. Be part of our successful well established agency, committed to providing a nurturing and educational environment for children. Looking for someone dynamic, passionate and excited about childcare. The nursery caters to help develop and grow children aged 0-5 years.

Are you 18 years and over looking for flexible weekly working hours? Do you have an early years qualification L2/L3 or above or EYT/QTS and/or do you have experience working with children? Can you commit to 2-5 weekdays with weekly availability working shifts 8 hour shifts between 8am to 6pm?

Job Specification for Nursery Agency Worker:

Flexible with days on a weekly basis to work around your commitments but we need weekly availability, ideally 2-5 days per week working 8am to 6pm shifts
Ideally have a full and relevant early years qualification L2 or above or have QTS/EYT status (not essential)
Have experience working in a nursery, school, as a nanny, teacher/tutor or babysitter
Have a DBS on the update system or be willing to pay for one through us and register it on the update system

Nursery Agency Worker Role Responsibilities:

Making sure that you are always engaging with the children.
Interact with them, help them with breakfast/snacks/lunch/dinner (according to the nursery food hygiene practices)
Help put them to sleep (according to nursery safe sleep practices)
Play with them, helping the children learn and participating with the tidying up
You will work between the age ranges of 05 years (babies, toddlers, and preschool)
This role includes sometimes working in more than one nursery setting within reasonable distance from your home.
The position is flexible working which can work around your weekly availability
You must also have a DBS on the update system or be willing to pay for one through us and then register it on the update service
You will be expected to work between 8am and 6pm but shift patterns will vary according to the requests of the hirer's/clients
Arrive on time
Follow the mobile phone / smartwatch procedures
Support children's learning through play
Help with tidying up
