As an Operations Manager at Veolia, you will oversee the day-to-day transport operation of our commercial waste depot, waste transfer station and bulk-haulage business and have a key focus on ensuring our customers are receiving first-class customer service.

What will you be doing?

Ensuring health and safety remains the number one priority within the transport operation.
Assisting the Business Manager to achieve the depot's budgeted profit & loss by working with the local sales team and managing resources of the depot.
Responsible for the operational performance of a nonhazardous waste transfer station.
Managing and growing the bulkhaulage business at the depot.
Ensuring that all regulatory requirements and fleet are adhered to, in line with operator licence requirements.
Reviewing customer KPIs to improve vehicle efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Managing the transport staff by rolemodelling Veolia's values to create a highperformance culture.
Oversee a commercial fleet of 30 vehicles including an outbase location.
Overseeing the continuous improvement in recycling.

What are we looking for?

Previous experience in managing transport staff
CPC in National Road Haulage
COTC/WAMITAB Level 4 desirable
IOSH
Commercial waste experience is desirable
