Description
Connect Appointments are on the hunt for an experienced HGV Mechanic/Technician to join and strengthen our clients growing team. This is a full-time permanent position, based in South Shields.


Working as a HGV Mechanic/Technician:


  • Monday to Friday
  • 8 hours per day, between 8am and 6pm
- £16 per hour; with overtime available

  • Weekend work is paid at 1.5x, however the need to work a weekend is very rare

You will be working for a family based transport company, undertaking the following duties: General HGV maintenance; MOT preparation; Fabrication repairs; Breakdown assistance - when required.


To be successful in this HGV Mechanic/Technician role you will possess the following skills and experience:

  • 1 years previous experience; and all up to date experience
  • A valid class one license
  • Understand the importance of an operators license
  • Understand the pricing of materials
**Please Note - A valid class 1 license is required for this role.
