Description

As a Software Developer in Test you will be responsible for developing the test automation infrastructure and framework within the People First Application.

Including functional UI, API, and performance testing.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Support in design and development of robust, highquality test frameworks
  • Design and develop cross cutting tools that support automation of testing
  • Support the strategic direction of our Shift Left and Continuous Testing programme
  • Develop solutions to enable reporting on Quality Metrics as required
  • Support the implementation of test automation framework and other test tools
  • Recommend improvements on quality practices across functional and nonfunctional testing
  • Monitor the effectiveness of the testing function and suggest improvements through insights gained via analysis at all stages of the SDLC
  • Work with Software Engineers, Web Developers and Quality Analysts across the department to identify automation testing hardships and work with Principals to remove them
  • Provide guidance, feedback, and suggestions to improve quality practices across software engineering
  • Research and suggest innovative testing products and solutions
  • Design methods for the creation of test data understand, analyse, and develop test data sets
  • Provide technical mentoring and training across software engineering
  • Support test teams carrying out manual regression testing with automated solutions

Technical Skills:


  • Testing principles, testing types, and methodologies.
  • Agile using CI/CD pipeline
  • Testing tools and services
  • Reading/writing in C#, Java, JavaScript/Typescript
  • Open mindset willingness to learn languages/tools as required&
