Head of Advertising, EMEA - (Remote, UK)


Wurl is looking for an experienced Head of Advertising based in the UK, who will be responsible for driving revenue growth for our advertising products across Europe.


The Head of Advertising will have strong CTV media sales experience building relationships across EMEA with a clear understanding across both the buyer and publisher perspective.

This individual will be directly responsible for driving advertising spend and supporting partners monetization efforts in the region. You will partner across DSPs, SSPs, Agencies, Brands and Content Publishers to support EMEA revenue and inventory growth.


You are highly experienced in CTV media sales, coming to Wurl with a strong network of contacts of key buyers and their agency partners with the ability to thrive in a creative, fast-paced, and autonomous culture.

This senior position requires a strong business acumen, with the ability to build and model the revenue targets necessary to grow a healthy sales org from the ground up.

This role reports to the GM, EMEA and regularly interfaces with Executives and other senior leaders across the business.


What You'll Do

  • Build strong relationships with DSPs, SSPs, Agencies, and Content Publishers across the region to onboard new demand partners to buy and grow inventory across Wurl's diversified supply
  • Directly manage a book of business, foster partnerships, and drive overall inventory growth
  • Drive results in a fastpaced, resourceconscious environment with a creative style and a strong vision
  • Collaborate with leadership to drive greater evangelization of Wurl's products and services
  • Work closely on GTM strategy across the Leadership, Marketing and Operations teams
  • Develop and maintain healthy, productive, working relationships across the business
  • Interface across multiple teams, departments and regions
  • Set business goals and maintain monthly financial results and projection plan; be able to perform analytical queries to understand business and customer trends

Qualifications

  • BA/BS; MBA preferred, not required
years of work experience with at least 7+ years of sales experience required, ideally in entertainment or media companies; at least 5 of those years specifically spent managing CTV demand and supply

  • Created, managed, and scaled revenue pipelines with advertisers, agencies, and supply partners; be able to communicate vision and strategy effectively with potential and current customers/partners
  • Thought leader with ability and experience speaking at advertising and media events to promote Wurl and its advertising products; a creative storyteller who can motivate customers through insightdriven communications
  • Ability to influence and inspire internal and external leadership and stakeholders to take appropriate risks
  • Experience negotiating contracts; strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to influence and inspire others
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface directly with Clevel Executives
  • Collaborative leadership skills, positive attitude, and passion for revenue growth
  • Strong analytical capabilities and consultative sales skills, and a deep understanding of technologyenabled advertising
