We're a fast growing Export company, looking for a hard-working and reliable person to join us in our new warehouse unit.

You'll be working with the two directors (Ethan and Ruairidh) and our existing full-time warehouse worker (David) in the warehouse to get items unloaded from suppliers, prepped (bundled, labelled), weighed and palletised for an outbound shipment.

As well as an hourly salary, you will receive a profit bonus, which is a share of all profits generated by the warehouse.

You will also receive employee shares in the company, so that employees benefit in the event of the company going public or being bought.

You will be helping unload pallets from suppliers, then bundle and label them ready to be sent to Amazon in the USA.

Items are then reboxed, weighed, and boxes are palletised. Pallets are collected next day. You role will be to label and bundle items, and help unload pallets, and palletise prepared boxes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Unpack products and label correctly
Keep work area clean and organized
Report any issues with product to Supervisor
Follow instructions on work orders to complete tasks in a timely manner
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager

Reliable. You must turn upto to work on time, and where possible give adequate notice of absence.

No drinking before or during working hours. Substance tests may be carried out monthly.

Experience:
Required Experience: 1 year minimum in a similar position in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to follow instructions, work independently, and take direction well.

Must have good communication skills, and have basic numeracy (counting items into boxes, weighing).

Must be able to lift 50 pounds, bend, stand for long periods of time, and climb stairs. Must be able to lift multiple boxes up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand for 8 hours a day. Must be fine working to tight deadlines to meet freight collections. Must be able to work in hot and cold temperatures.

Willing to work overtime on boosted pay upto twice per week. Overtime rate is £15-£16/hour experience dependent. Overtime hours typically are no later than 7.00pm but have on two occassions been later. Since taking on our first full-time warehouse staff member, David, in August, overtime has happened ~1-2 times per month.

Salary:
£12.50-£14.50 per hour
