Habitat Operative / Rope Access Admin
Aberdeen

To ensure all habitat equipment is maintained and ready to ship to clients locations when required and to assist with habitat inspections and prepare all paperwork for the shipping of habitats.

To backload and manifest habitat equipment returned from the platforms and pass to the core logistics team for off hire and providing cover in the rope access department when required and assist with logistics admin.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To ensure all habitat equipment is shipped accurately, within the requested timescales, utilising the correct and relevant documentation for the desired location.
  • Liaise with rope access and admin departments on a daily basis and assist where possible.
  • To ensure effective communications are achieved with internal customers and relationships built up to deliver customer satisfaction.
  • To fulfil an active role as part of the Plant and Equipment Logistics leadership team.
  • Ensure that a safe working environment is achieved and maintained at all times through full compliance with legislative and company health and safety requirements.
  • Complete Forklift checks on a daily basis to the required Bilfinger standard.
  • To safely and effectively clean and prepare equipment, including use of abrasive wheel.
  • To proactively keep the worksite clear of obstructions and potential hazards and to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Liaise with Logistics Operations Manager on a daily basis to clarify requirements and prioritise tasks as necessary.
  • Maintain excellent working relationship with all site personal.
  • To accurately manifest all equipment returned from all clients back into stores and pass to logistics for off hire.
  • Ensure all hired thirdparty equipment is returned to the supplier at the earliest opportunity.
  • Any other duties as designated by Line Manager or as the Bilfinger Salamis' business dictates.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Must have relevant experience in stores warehouse and logistics Admin.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of, and interest in safe warehouse/stores operations.
  • Must be computer literate.
