Page Personnel are delighted to be partnered with a Multi Academy Trust based in Cambridge in their search for a temporary Finance Assistant.

This would be an opportunity suited to someone immediately available looking for a varied finance role.

Description

Finance Assistant responsibilities:

  • Raising Purchase Orders, and entering Goods Received Notes
  • Manage Credit Cards, including entry of transactions and reconciliation
  • Support budget holders by reporting income and expenditure to ensure they are operating within an allocated budget
  • Raise internal journals
  • Provide petty cash
  • Process and monitor sales invoices
  • Other general administrative duties

Profile

  • Knowledge and experience of accounts receivable activities
  • Knowledge and experience of general bookkeeping and administration procedures
  • Producing accounts receivable reports and reconciliations
  • Accounting system e.g. Microsoft Dynamics NAV
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience in a professional services environment
