WHAT'S THE ROLE?

To manage day to day operations involved with Supply Chain execution within the Market Organisation.


The position includes interfacing with Logistics Service Providers (Warehousing, Domestic & Regional Transportation, Freight Forwarding), Regional Logistics Material Management, Sales and Marketing, Customer Service, Finance and Controlling, Tool Service Centre and other areas at Corporate Headquarters.

Responsible for contributing to the team to achieve high levels of performance. To develop knowledge in all areas of supply chain by participating in cross-functional activities/projects and assignments as directed.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?

  • Manage and assist in all aspects of department operations
  • Facilitate distribution of up to 2000 inventory items.
  • Operational Management of Logistics Service providers
  • Inventory management inventory in outsourced warehouse


  • Logistics Service Support

  • Customer Complaints Notifications, Inventory transfers, Reporting, Invoice audits, Handling process related enquiries
  • Contribute and assist in operations, while contributing to process improvement and strategic direction.
  • Maintenance of all customs procedures, working with relevant teams
  • Maintenance of customs manual for GB & Ireland
  • Maintenance of customs compliance processes e.g. declaration checking & record keeping

WHAT YOU NEED IS:

  • Minimum 35 years of logistics experience
  • Completed Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Strong Microsoft and PC skills; including Access, Excel, PowerPoint,
  • Ability to use Excel for analysis
  • Strong Analytical skills and mathematical aptitude required
  • SAP knowledge preferred
  • Must be detail oriented and well organized
  • Comfortable working with strict deadlines
  • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • High level of motivation, customer focus, and a continuous improvement mentality required
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Willing to work in operational and office environment
