As an Advocacy Worker, you will champion the rights and needs of individuals, providing support and representation to empower them in navigating complex systems.

Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized advocacy support to clients, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights are upheld.
- Collaborate with clients to identify their needs, concerns, and aspirations, and work towards achieving positive outcomes
- Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and policies that impact the rights and wellbeing of clients.
- Educate clients about their rights and legal options, offering guidance and support throughout the advocacy process.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of advocacy campaigns to address systemic issues affecting the communities served.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to empower clients with knowledge and skills to advocate for themselves.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with clients, community partners, and relevant authorities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, law, human rights, or a related field.
- Previous experience in advocacy work, preferably in areas such as social justice, human rights, or community empowerment.
- Strong knowledge of legal and social issues affecting marginalized populations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, resilience, and a commitment to social justice and equality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Familiarity with local community resources and support services.
