Payroll & Pensions Specialist - Up To £38,000 Based on Experience - Thatcham

The company


Wade Macdonald are delighted to be partnering with a well-known local organisation as they begin seeking a Payroll & Pensions Specialist to work as an integral member of their Finance function.


The role
This position will be focused around the preparation and delivery of payroll to the organisations circa 200 staff, providing advice on current legislation, resolving queries and advising as required


Further duties include:

  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders as required
  • Dealing with payroll onboarding duties
  • Assisting the HR and Finance Team with reporting and payroll queries
  • Further ad hoc duties as required

In order to progress within this role, applicants should:

  • Have prior experience with the end-to-end processing of Payroll
  • Show experience in payroll onboarding and project work
  • Demonstrate highly technical payroll ability, both through processing and through knowledge
  • Hold up to date legislation knowledge
  • Be confident in working independently to support the wider team
  • Demonstrate excellent skills in MS Office and wider payroll systems
  • Further desirable skills include a CIPP qualification, however this is not essential._
