Full Time (34.5 hours)


Salary - London: £37,500 - £41,500 / National: £34,000 - £38,000

Location:
Split between home and our London office, or fully remote.


Experienced in working with and selecting marketing data? Keen to use those skills to help us reach and improve the lives of people affected by cancer? With your expertise you'll play a pivotal role in utilising database marketing systems and tools to maximise use of our data, assisting fundraisers with their national and local marketing activity.

About the role

You'll play a key role in the team generating data selections - run against suppressions and exclusions - for Macmillan's multi-channel campaigns, ensuring that the data is accurate, effective and compliant.

Your experience will provide technical guidance to other Data Delivery officers and help drive improvements with the team's processes and tools.


About you

You will need a logical mindset and methodical approach, plus the ability to deal with complex data selections and to manipulate predominantly text based data with ease.

Advanced experience with MS Excel is essential for this role, as are the technical skills and knowledge to help guide other members of the team and contribute to improvements in processes.

Previous experience of line management would be of benefit

Ideally you will also have experience of Faststats/Cascade, plus have some understanding of Python, SQL and Azure. A knowledge of the laws relating to privacy, data governance and consent is essential.
