GAC UK is looking for an Operations Co-ordinator to join our team. Could it be you?


We are currently looking for an
Operations Coordinator to join our team in Southampton, specialising in logistics within the Marine Leisure, Sports and Events sector.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage the endtoend operational process of shipments
  • Liaising with suppliers and service providers
  • Liaising with customers, agents and partners
  • Problem solving and critical thinking to optimise service delivery
  • Sourcing, negotiating and quoting rates
  • Experience working within a freight forwarding role
  • Experience across air, sea, and road freight is preferable
  • Customs clearance knowledge/experience required
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Be able to produce and maintain accurate documents
  • Experience in using Microsoft office products
  • A desire to improve services offered to customers by analysing performance and reviewing suppliers
  • Experience working to tight deadlines
