Accounting Assistant - Saltburn-by-the-Sea, United Kingdom - Peel Jones Copper Products LTD

Description

We are looking for someone with all round accountancy knowledge who can be very hands on with strong analytical skills, and previous accounting experience, preferably with SME's.

Advanced EXCEL skills, logical thinker, problem solver and good communicator. Use of Opera Pegasus 3 is an advantage.

Duties to include:

Day to day accounting, sales ledger, Reconciliations, Pensions submissions, Control Accounting, Credit control, PAYE, Payroll weekly and at year end.

Preparation of Bacs runs, Reconciling statements, Accruals / Prepayments. Preparation of agent commissions, monitoring and submitting National Statistics. Knowledge of foreign exchange would be beneficial. Assist Finance Manager in preparation of Month End Accounts. Ad Hoc tasks within sales exports.

Working to AAT status is beneficial.
